Peter Rowe 





A partner in law firm Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, Peter’s specialist areas are company and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, joint ventures and governmental work. Peter currently chairs the NZSO Foundation and Wagner NZ Foundation, is a trustee of Auckland Opera Studio and ASB Charitable Trust and until recently was on the NZSO board.

Jennifer Calvert

Jennifer Calvert 





A human resources and organisational development consultant, Jennifer is sought after for project related work with a wide range of public, private and not for profit clients. She also provides mentoring and career counseling services, both on a paid and voluntary basis.

She has worked as a Senior Consultant for Sheffield Ltd and was a founding partner in KP Solutions, a Maori recruitment and HR consultancy.  Former roles included National Director of AFS Intercultural Programmes in NZ, Chief Executive of Volunteer Service Abroad and HR management roles with Te Papa and the Wellington Division of the Cancer Society. 



Julian Miles

Appointed Queens Counsel in 1991, Julian was previously a senior litigation partner at Bell Gully for 20 years. Julian has been president of the New Zealand Bar Association, and has chaired the McCahon Trust for many years.

Rod MacKenzie

Rod MacKensie 





Rod MacKenzie is currently NZ Trade & Enterprise's (NZTE) Group General Manager for North Asia with responsibility for Japan, Korea and the greater China region. Prior to the creation of NZTE in 2003 Rod was the acting Chief Executive of Trade NZ and had previously been their Regional Director for North America.

Prior to joining Trade NZ Rod was a director of one of NZ's leading PR companies handling a wide range of clients operating in the consumer and ICT sectors. Rod has a Bachelor of Music degree and various business qualifications focusing on marketing and management.



Jane Sweeney

Jane Sweeney 





Managing Director of Porter Novelli, Jane is one of the PR industry's most experienced and respected professionals. Having started her career in marketing communications, Jane’s skillset now incorporates the full suite of corporate communications disciplines. Jane ran a top-ten marcomms agency in London and was trade commissioner for New Zealand Trade & Enterprise in Paris in the mid 1990s. This period of government service offered Jane an entrée to senior Ministers and officials.



Daniel Thurston

Daniel Thurston





Daniel is the founder and managing director of award-winning Auckland marketing communications agency, 4i’s, specializing in brand projects. With a background spanning the full spectrum of marketing disciplines, and specialist expertise in brand strategy, his capabilities in social network marketing sees him in growing demand for speaking engagements, in both in New Zealand and China. He is a director of two Chinese companies and New Zealand-based social network start-up, Homesweet.

Daniel has actively supported the performing arts for many years, and served on the board of Black Grace Dance Company from 2002 to 2006.



 

 

NZTRIO MANAGEMENT ADVISORS:

 

Roger King


Roger has created and directed a number of major arts projects in New Zealand, including the Dame Malvina Major Foundation, arts festivals in Taranaki, Tauranga and Taupo, and the WOMAD Festival in Taranaki. He now works as a consultant, and is on the board of Chamber Music New Zealand and Objectspace.

 

Lloyd Williams

Lloyd was the Chair of the SounZ Board of Trustees, is a Governor of the Arts Foundation of NZ and is the director of the MA in Arts Management programme at Whitecliffe College. For six year, Lloyd was General Manager of the Auckland Philharmonia, for which continues to occasionally play Double Bass.

 

 

NZTrio management:

 

Manager: Vanessa Zigliani

Vanessa brings 18 years of arts administration experience to the role as manager for NZTrio. As a qualified chartered accountant she joined The Royal New Zealand Ballet in 1993 as Manager - Auckland Region, where she lead a team delivering marketing, sponsorship and event management services in the Auckland market. After 5 years with the national ballet company – Vanessa, with her business partner Linda Olsson, set up olsson & zigliani consultants limited and developed among other arts related projects, The NBR Awards for Business Sponsorship of the Arts. Since then she has worked on a variety of arts and event based contracts for The Ministry of Culture & Heritage, PRINZ and latterly co-ordinated Audience 360⁰, an audience development initiative funded by Creative NZ. Vanessa joined NZTrio as manager in April 2011.

 

Administrative Assistant and Tour Manager: Steve Wheadon

Steve Wheadon has recently moved to New Zealand from the UK where he worked in music publishing at Peter Gabriel's company Real World Music Ltd. and as a live music promoter and stage manager in Bath. He has worked with such diverse acts as Mumford and Sons, Neil Finn, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Peter Green and Foals and at festivals such as Glastonbury, Menagerie and Trowbridge Pump Festival. Steve is currently working as an administration assistant and tour manager for the NZTrio and as a site manager for the Grey Lynn Park Festival.
